Baseball Recap: Leon Lions vs. North Florida Christian Eagles
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Leon and North Florida Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lions came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-3 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-5 back in February.
Connor Borges made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
