Basketball Recap: Susquenita Blackhawks vs. Biglerville Canners
Susquenita gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Biglerville Canners as the Susquenita Blackhawks made off with a 71-51 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Blackhawks as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Susquenita got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dylan Trimmer out in front who went 9 for 18 en route to 20 points plus four steals. Ryan Schoppy was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Susquenita wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-42 loss against York Country Day on the 6th. Biglerville has also already played their next contest, a 65-31 defeat against Annville-Cleona on the 6th.
