Softball Recap: Daingerfield Takes a Loss

Daingerfield fell victim to Hughes Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Daingerfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Hughes Springs, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Daingerfield is set to take on their familiar foe New Diana at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hughes Springs will challenge rival Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
