Baseball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland couldn't beat Washburn on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Hornets came up short against the Beavers, falling 17-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Beavers: they've now lost four in a row.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Washburn, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.
