Summit Academy is 8-2 against Judge Memorial Catholic since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Summit Academy was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against American Leadership Academy, sneaking past 7-6. The game was the first time the Bears have beaten the Eagles on their field since April 10, 2023.

Meanwhile, Judge Memorial Catholic hadn't done well against Summit Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Tuesday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Bears.

Jeter Soto spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Judge Memorial Catholic is 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Dominic Fassio was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Judge Memorial Catholic: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Miles Augustine, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Judge Memorial Catholic's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11. As for Summit Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.

Summit Academy couldn't quite get it done against Judge Memorial Catholic in their previous meeting last Tuesday as they fell 7-4. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
