Duluth is 1-7 against Peachtree Ridge since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Duluth blew past Meadowcreek, posting a 50-20 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-7.

Jahmir Joseph went supernova, rushing for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). DeTwann Collins also helped out with an impressive 87 receiving yards.
Duluth's run defense was locked in: Meadowcreek could only muster one yards per carry. The team can thank Cash Corey-Williams for the heroic effort on defense: he. Duluth didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.8.
Duluth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Peyton Fonville, Braylon Bashir, and Careem Tillman picked up one apiece. Fonville is also crushing it when it comes to defended passes: he's defended at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Meadowcreek's side was Joshua Gary, who picked up a sack and made nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Peachtree Ridge entered their tilt with Norcross on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blue Devils, sneaking past 24-22.
Duluth better keep an eye on Rayshaun Parks. He was instrumental in Peachtree Ridge's win, rushing for 126 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 179 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Rhari Thomas was another key player, picking up 94 receiving yards and one score.
Duluth now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Peachtree Ridge, their record now sits at 4-1.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Shamar Banner and Parks. Banner just won't slow down this season and has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 170.2 passing yards per game. Parks has been a dominant force too and has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 247.4 passing yards per game.
Duluth lost to Peachtree Ridge on the road by a decisive 46-28 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
