Baseball Recap: Naches Valley Comes Up Short

Naches Valley blew Royal out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Royal got their revenge. The Rangers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 5-3. Surprisingly, this marked the Rangers' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Naches Valley's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1-1 and their overall record down to 17-8-1. As for Royal, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Naches Valley will face off against Colville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rangers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crimson Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. Royal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
