Normal University waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 2-0. The Pioneers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railsplitters, too.

Normal University easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Laney Snow paced Normal University's offense, picking up seven kills. Snow got some help from Morgan Petelin and her 12 assists.

Normal University's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normal University will face off against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will take on Taylorville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
