Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne North Side Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne North Side lost against Carroll back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Legends came up short against the Chargers, falling 3-0. The Legends just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

While Fort Wayne North Side ultimately came up short, they really made Carroll work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 28-13, 25-16.

Carroll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dominic Bennett led the charge by getting eight assists and six digs. That's the most digs Bennett has posted over his last six contests.

Fort Wayne North Side's record now sits at 2-11. As for Carroll, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne North Side will face off against DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Legends are facing the Barons at the right time seeing as the Barons are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Carroll, they will square off against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
