Williamsburg put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Bethel-Tate Tigers. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The team relied heavily on Kaityln Pollitt, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Lexi Miller also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Williamsburg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bethel-Tate only posted a batting average of .250.

Williamsburg's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.8 runs this season. As for Bethel-Tate, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Williamsburg will face off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bethel-Tate, they will take on Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
