Football Recap: Streator Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Streator was riding high fresh off their 36-14 takedown of Decatur Eisenhower last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs were dealt a 50-14 loss at the hands of the Ottawa Pirates on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 34-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Streator's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ottawa, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Streator will head out to face off against Reed-Custer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Ottawa, they will host LaSalle-Peru at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
