Volleyball Recap: Dos Palos Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Dos Palos was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Firebaugh last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos fell 3-1 to the Coalinga Horned Toads on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Broncos in their meetings with the Horned Toads: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 21-25, 25-13.

Jayla Bland paced Dos Palos' offense, picking up 14 kills. Bland got some help from Hailey Portillo and her 20 assists. Kodi Gonzales controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Dos Palos' loss dropped their record down to 10-14-1. As for Coalinga, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11-2 record this season.
