McClintock lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Dobson, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The McClintock Chargers blew past the Dobson Mustangs 13-5 on Tuesday. The Chargers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

McClintock let Cole Rentschler and Markus Lopez run wild. Rentschler scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Lopez scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Elias Baldwin was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI.

McClintock's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5. As for Dobson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McClintock will welcome Carl Hayden Community at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dobson, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Tolleson at 3:45 p.m. Dobson has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
