Softball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

The Phillips Wildcats lost 24-1 to the Thornwood Thunderbirds on Friday.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Thornwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Simeon at 4:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Thornwood, they will challenge Thornton Fractional South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Thornwood is facing Thornton Fractional South at the right time seeing as Thornton Fractional South is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
