Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Spokane's Winning Streak

It was a Battle of the Birds when Spokane took on Clever on Thursday. The Owls fell just short of the Blue Jays by a score of 3-2. The Owls' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Spokane actually scored more points across those five sets (97-91), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 10-25, 25-19, 16-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Spokane still got an impressive performance from Carley Collins, who had 21 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, Collins is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.
