Volleyball Game Preview: Riverton Silverwolves vs. Lone Peak Knights

The Riverton Silverwolves will take on the Lone Peak Knights at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Riverton heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Mountain Ridge. The Silverwolves have struggled against the Sentinels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Lone Peak faced Westlake in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights came up short against the Thunder, falling 3-0.

Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Lone Peak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season.
