Softball Recap: Eatonville Takes a Loss

Eatonville was the 28-10 winner over Orting when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cruisers fell 15-11 to the Cardinals on Friday. The Cruisers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amy Tozier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. She also put up a run, which was her first of the season. Kaitlyn Kenney was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Eatonville now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Orting, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eatonville is set to challenge their familiar foe Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Orting will square off against rival Steilacoom at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
