St. Mary's-Colgan posted their closest win since September 2nd on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Galena Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

St. Mary's-Colgan was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-12, 25-14.

Bella Ascanio paced St. Mary's-Colgan's offense, picking up ten kills. Ascanio got some help from Izzy Tierney and her 14 assists. Tierney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
