North Oconee had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Oconee County Warriors to the tune of 76-40 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their 29th in a row dating back to last season.
Oconee County's loss came despite strong showings from Grayson Hockaday and Max Harmelink. Hockaday shot 67% from the field to rack up 13 points, while Harmelink almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 boards.

Coincidentally, North Oconee and Oconee County will both be playing Clarke Central the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Titans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
