Mt. Pleasant and Keokuk are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Chiefs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mt. Pleasant took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Albia 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Meanwhile, Keokuk had to endure a 16-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Danville by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Keokuk, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Mt. Pleasant was able to grind out a solid victory over Keokuk in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Chiefs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
