Baseball Preview: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Taft Wildcats
The Ridgeview Wolf Pack will head out on the road to take on the Taft Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Taft took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridgeview, who comes in off a win.
On Saturday, Ridgeview beat San Luis Obispo 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolf Pack.
Ben Castro was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.
