Volleyball Recap: Brad Chier Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Hilltop

Victory Christian Academy won the last time they faced Hilltop and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Victory Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brad Chier, who had ten kills, six digs, two aces, and one block. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had seven or more in each of the last 19 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Esteban Torres, who had 27 assists and five digs.

Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Hilltop, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
