Basketball Recap: Rogers Heritage Takes a Loss

Rogers Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Springdale Bulldogs, falling 86-38. The War Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-25.

Cy Bates had an outrageously good game for Springdale as he went 9-for-15 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Conley, who dropped a double-double with 12 assists and ten steals.

Rogers Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Springdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Coming up, Rogers Heritage is taking a road trip to challenge Har-Ber at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Springdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bentonville West at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
