East Mountain had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Socorro Warriors 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Timberwolves also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

East Mountain was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-16.

Calla DiMaio paced East Mountain's offense, picking up eight kills. DiMaio got some help from Olivia Gonzales and her 15 assists. Gonzales was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

East Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Moriarty on the 21st. As for Socorro, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Estancia on the 21st.
