Union was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring six points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-6, 25-6.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blue River Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Tri by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Blue River Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Blue River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Union might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Blue River Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Vikings' Bekah Grim, who had 15 digs and four aces.
