Volleyball Recap: Miah Loera's Big Game Can't Quite Lead San Juan Diego Catholic over St. Mary's

San Juan Diego Catholic lost against St. Mary on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saints took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 25-12.

San Juan Diego Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Miah Loera, who had three digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Pevoto, who had ten digs.

San Juan Diego Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for St. Mary's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1-1.

San Juan Diego Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Austin Royals HomeSchool on the 21st. As for St. Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against McDade on the 26th.
