It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Redbank Valley can now relate to. They fell just short of Freedom Area by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. Redbank Valley's defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Redbank Valley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Neiswonger, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Another was Jordan Smith, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Redbank Valley's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Freedom Area, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
