Volleyball Recap: Thomas Maclaren School Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pueblo South, Thomas MacLaren School was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the James Irwin Jaguars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Wednesday.

The win didn't come easy: James Irwin scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 28-26, 23-25, 25-21.

Chase Vadala paced Thomas MacLaren School's offense, picking up 18 kills. Vadala got some help from Benny Ambuul and his 23 assists. Ivan Romo controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Thomas MacLaren School's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9. As for James Irwin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Thomas MacLaren School nor James Irwin have any future games scheduled.
