Piedmont has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Cuthbertson Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Monday, Piedmont made easy work of Metrolina Christian Academy and carried off a 13-3 victory.
Camryn Kaminski made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Kaminski was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a home run.
In other batting news, Emily Polk was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with five RBI and two doubles. Addi Lockrem was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
