Basketball Game Preview: South Broward Bulldogs vs. North Miami Pioneers

The South Broward Bulldogs will face off against the North Miami Pioneers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. South Broward will be strutting in after a victory while North Miami will be coming in after a loss.

South Broward picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They slipped by Norland 44-43.

South Broward got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bianca Torres out in front who posted 15 points along with five boards and three steals. Those 15 points gave Torres a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalia Adams, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 boards.

North Miami has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to DeLand on the road by a 56-41 margin on Saturday.

South Broward is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points per game. As for North Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

South Broward suffered a grim 59-36 defeat to North Miami when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Thankfully for South Broward, Desiree Sinclair (who had 17 points in addition to six boards and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
