Baseball Recap: Williams Comes Up Short

Williams and J.H. Rose squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Williams had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rampants, falling 15-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Williams has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for J.H. Rose, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for J.H. Rose, they will take on Hunt on Friday. The Rampants' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
