Baseball Recap: Faribault Takes a Loss

Kasson-Mantorville hit Faribault with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons fell just short of the Komets by a score of 6-5. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 6-4 to the Komets when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Faribault and nudges their season record down to 1-10. As for Kasson-Mantorville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Coming up, Faribault will host Albert Lea at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lakeville South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
