Softball Recap: Charlotte Comes Up Short

The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons came up short against the Parrish Community Bulls on Thursday, falling 14-2. The Fightin' Tarpons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Haven Hickox was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Parrish Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte will challenge Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parrish Community, they will square off against Sarasota at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
