Clearfield (Pa.) defeated
Huntingdon (Pa.) 41-24 after receiving a standout performance from receiver
Trey Jordan, who caught four touchdown passes in the win.
The Bison were up 27-3 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Christian Lezzer to Jordan in the first quarter.
Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 24.
Lezzer and Jordan teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Jordan has now caught four touchdowns this season, while Lezzer has thrown seven.
The Bearcats'
Josh Foster played well. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
Clearfield also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 35-7.
With the win CHS extended its winning streak to three games.
Huntingdon (0-3) goes up against Penns Valley Area in a Mountain game matchup next week, while Clearfield (3-0) locks horns with Central Mountain in a non-conference game.
