Spencerport piles up the points against Irondequoit

The Spencerport Rangers can finally bid farewell to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Irondequoit 66-38 at home. This was payback for Spencerport, who suffered a 39-32 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Irondequoit's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kailey Besio, who scored 12 points. Aubrey Smith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.

Spencerport's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Irondequoit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Spencerport will head out on the road to face off against Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Irondequoit will be home for the holidays to greet Brockport at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Brockport and Irondequoit are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
