Basketball Game Preview: East Poinsett County Warriors vs. Marked Tree Indians

East Poinsett County might have lost, but man, Kyla Harston was a machine: she went 10-for-19 on her way to 25 points and five boards. That's the most points Harston has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaniya Shepherd, who earned four points.

Meanwhile, Marked Tree made easy work of Clarendon on Tuesday and carried off a 63-41 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Marked Tree is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points over those games. As for East Poinsett County, their loss dropped their record down to 19-10.
