Shining Light Academy came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Upstate HomeSchool Bearcats by a score of 40-32. Those 40 points were actually the fewest the Knights have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Shining Light Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Harry Uwaifo out in front who went 7-for-13 to rack up 17 points. Uwaifo is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Zach Evaro was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five boards and three steals.

Shining Light Academy's record is now 5-1. As for Upstate HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Shining Light Academy has already played their next matchup, a 40-25 defeat against Oak Forest on the 5th. As for Upstate HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-26 loss against Gramercy Christian on the 5th.
