Basketball Recap: Goochland Takes a Loss

If Goochland was riding high fresh off their 43-17 takedown of Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Goochland Bulldogs fell 36-23 to the Lunenburg Central Chargers on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Goochland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lunenburg Central, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Goochland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-15 loss against Maggie Walker on the 11th. As for Lunenburg Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-25 defeat against Prince Edward County on the 10th.
