Middle Tennessee Monarchs came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-0 to Northside Falcons HomeSchool.

Meanwhile, St. Louis HomeSchool P came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Thunder get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory.

The team relied heavily on Will Schark, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Isaiah Skaggs was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Louis HomeSchool P pushed their record up to 17-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Middle Tennessee Monarchs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-17 record this season.
