Baseball Recap: Passaic Triumphs

Passaic lost to Clifton on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Indians came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Passaic's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Torres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple. Those two hits gave Torres a new career-high. Another was Darison Paulino, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Passaic's record is now 4-13. As for Clifton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

Coming up, Passaic is taking a road trip to face off against Pompton Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clifton, they will be playing at home against Wayne Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
