Volleyball Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Takes a Loss

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional lost against Norton back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons came up short against the Lancers, falling 3-0. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lancers since on Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 25-16.

Alex George was the offensive standout of the game as he had ten digs and three aces. Those three aces gave him a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional and nudges their season record down to 2-10. As for Norton, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Medfield at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Norton, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hopkinton on the 16th.
