Mountain View fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 78-71 victory over the McLean Highlanders on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why McLean lost, don't look at Jake Bell. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-14 en route to 21 points and seven boards. Bell's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Nahom Kidane, who posted eight points.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for McLean, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will face off against North Stafford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for McLean, they will take on Centreville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
