Volleyball Recap: Kelvyn Park Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Kelvyn Park duked it out with Austin College and Career Academy on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Kelvyn Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 25-12.

Kelvyn Park's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Austin College and Career Academy, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kelvyn Park will square off against Crane Medical at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Austin College and Career Academy, they will be playing at home against Manley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
