Volleyball Game Preview: Providence Classical Paladins vs. Lee Park Prep Knights

After both having extra time off, the Providence Classical Paladins and the Lee Park Prep Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Providence Classical has four straight wins, Lee Park Prep has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Providence Classical made easy work of Grace Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Providence Classical not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Grace Academy between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Lee Park Prep came up short against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy last Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12, 25-27, 25-13.

Providence Classical now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lee Park Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Providence Classical suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lee Park Prep in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Paladins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
