Flag Football Game Preview: The Classical Academy Titans vs. Valor Christian Eagles + Official Tickets

The Classical Academy Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Valor Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (The Classical Academy has five straight victories, Valor Christian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The Classical Academy's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over Palmer. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Valor Christian faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Saturday. The Eagles fell 33-21 to the Wildcats. Despite 85 more yards than the Wildcats, the Eagles couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Although Valor Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Grace Marino, Faith Prinzo, and Brynn Hammill.

Even if they lost, Valor Christian's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Arvada West's QB won't forget Marino anytime soon given she sacked her twice.

Valor Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for The Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.

The Classical Academy came up short against Valor Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 27-20. Thankfully for the Titans, Savannah Khan (who picked up 57 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground) won't be suiting up this time.
