Soccer Game Preview: Cypress Park vs. Cypress Woods

Cypress Park hasn't had much luck against Cypress Woods recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Wildcats at 6:45 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cypress Park faced off against Cypress Springs on Friday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Cypress Woods had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the Mustangs 4-1. Considering Cypress Woods have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cypress Ranch with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Whitney Foster (2), Kianna Orlandi, and Ella Fritz.

Cypress Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Cypress Woods, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4-3.

Cypress Park might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Cypress Woods in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
