Ever Ovalle posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Ovalle's strong effort led Red Bluff over Enterprise and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
