Basketball Recap: Chillicothe Extends Road Winning Streak to 19

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Chillicothe on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cameron Dragons as the Chillicothe Hornets made off with a 62-37 victory. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Lyla Beetsma was her usual excellent self, going 7-for-15 to rack up 18 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexy Smith, who posted nine points and three steals.

Chillicothe was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They are 15-2 when they've passed the ball that well.
