Mendon had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Athens Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 6th.

Mendon's win bumped their record up to 17-1-1. As for Athens, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mendon will welcome Grass Lake at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Athens, after both having extra time off, they and Camden-Frontier will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
