Clinton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They never let the St. Paul Lutheran Saints get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Clinton, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Paul Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Clinton is taking a road trip to square off against Pleasant Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they will host La Monte at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th.
